In politics, people work against their conscience to get favour because of the above statement. 

The same thing happens to those that are party conscious particularly when they have build and they don't want to let go. Also, remember man must live to make a better life. 

Now, who is to be blamed for the issue of bad governance and parties' failure to bring out incompetent candidates when there are competent individuals in the party???

In a time like this, I will advise all political parties to be more party conscious of defending and not letting their party down for any reason of preferring an incompetent candidate when there are competent and more qualified individuals that can become candidates for citizens to choose through voting system. 

Not being party conscious may lead to party destruction as it tempts to mislead and put party members in the state of grief wallowing away true strength to deliver and sustain party supreme.
