The patten nor method at which politics is been approach and played in a democratic nation like Nigeria looks opposite of true definition of democracy. What could be the reason? First, I have noticed, majorly' electorates have the mentality of begging and extorting candidates ones it's election period. And that's a bad habit of patriotic citizens that suppose to protect and ensure democracy. PRESS STATEMENT 27th August, 2024 GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI HAS NOT BORROWED A DIME  The Delta State Government notes with serious concern some reports in some online media platforms alleging that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori borrowed the sum of N40billion soon after assuming office. The reports are not only misleading, but also capable of creating misunderstanding and confusion in the State. For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state categorically that the Delta State Government DID NOT Borrow N40 billion. And the Sheriff Oborevwori administration has not borrowed any dime till now. The records are there for anybody who cares for the truth to verify. What the Oborevwori administration did was to graciously guarantee a N40b loan facility for ALGON, to enable it offset the unpaid pension liabilities of retired Local Government personnel. It was awesome having time with minds alike such as person's of Kelvin Ejumudo and Ughere Blessed who are seniors in the field of advocacy. Also, remember man must live to make a better life.  Now, who is to be blamed for the issue of bad governance and parties' failure to bring out incompetent candidates when there are competent individuals in the party??? History was made yesterday 20th July 2024,as an NGO known as Teku charitable foundation embarked on an Education scholarship and Free medical care outreach program to the people okwagbe community in Ughelli south Local Government area of Delta state. The Convener Elohor Omoko said the occasion was in commemoration of her late father’s 20th Remembrance anniversary Late Mr Edward Teku Boyi Omoko Alias(Ojele) who was an advocate of Education of the boy and girl child. The Teku charitable foundation on Friday 19th July 2024 awarded scholarship to university level of four students of both st Vincent college and okwagbe secondary school respectively,One ufuomaefe Batholomew SS3 student of st Vincent’s college okwagbe was given scholarship to university level as well. I am saying this because of the rate at which teenagers are often seen around immoral happenings in the current generation. There was a day I called 6 girls in a group movement to questioned about the reason they dress half nicked, their reply was through a young girl among them that; nothing makes them dress half nicked other than choice to dress as you like. Immorality will pay major religions atrocity today or later tomorrow. Religious is meant to be morally perfect not to congest the heart of men to the state of unbelieve or lacking faith. Changes is constant and it can occur when there is its necessity, most especially when one's mind is fed up and been made up.
