Comr Edewor Otighoarievwen   In politics, people work against their conscience to get favour because of the above statement.  The same thing happens to those that are party conscious particularly when they have build and they don't want to let go. Also, remember man must live to make a better life.  Now, who is to be blamed for the issue of bad governance and parties' failure to bring out incompetent candidates when there are competent individuals in the party??? In a time like this, I will advise all political parties to be more party conscious of defending and not letting their party down for any reason of preferring an incompetent candidate when there are competent and more qualified individuals that can become candidates for citizens to choose through voting system.  Not being party conscious may lead to party destruction as it tempts to mislead and put party members in the ...

ANCIENT WORLD HISTORY; Prostitution and life of hookers in Victorian society...

Image
Prostitution and life of hookers in Victorian society... Prostitution in Victorian England was a part of everyday life for people from every class, ethnicity, and gender. Prostitution became a major concern and a focal point for social reformers in the 19th century. No one knows for certain, but there were somewhere between 8,000 and 80,000 prostitutes in London during the Victorian Age. It is generally accepted that most of these women found themselves in prostitution due to economic necessity. There were three attitudes towards prostitution — condemnation, regulation, and reformation. Prostitution has been around for decades. It was around during the Ancient Rome Empire and it was certainly in the 1930s during the Great Depression. On October 29, of 1929 the stock market crashed which was the official beginning of the Great Depression. From there banks and people started losing their money putting people into poverty and out of jobs. During this madness there was one occupation that ...

40B'NAIRA WAS NOT BORROWED, DELTA @ 33 FORMATION.

Image
PRESS STATEMENT 27th August, 2024 GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI HAS NOT BORROWED A DIME  The Delta State Government notes with serious concern some reports in some online media platforms alleging that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori borrowed the sum of N40billion soon after assuming office. The reports are not only misleading, but also capable of creating misunderstanding and confusion in the State. For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state categorically that the Delta State Government DID NOT Borrow N40 billion. And the Sheriff Oborevwori administration has not borrowed any dime till now. The records are there for anybody who cares for the truth to verify. What the Oborevwori administration did was to graciously guarantee a N40b loan facility for ALGON, to enable it offset the unpaid pension liabilities of retired Local Government personnel. Repayable over a five-year period, the loan is to be repaid through direct debits to the Local Government Councils.  Also read   https:...

Blood Eagle (execution...)

Image
Wow you got a stomach of the gods... Now Blood Eagle is a Norse execution/torture... By the gods of Valhalla please hope these people can join you... Now the blood eagle, is slow and painful... First off think... And imagine your ankles.. And wrists are tied down then you hear a scraping sound.. Then you feel a knife filleting your back while you are awake...  The blade inch by inch cutting your skin off until your ribs show... Then you feel an axe chop into both left and right back ribs... But you dont scream... Because if you scream you wont be worthy to go into Valhalla... Then you feel fingers dig into the openings the axe left and the jarl pulls and breaks your back rib cage open... Revealing your lungs and heart you would think the jarl would just kill you but...  Sadly thats not going to happen, with both the jarls hands he grabs both of your lungs then pulls your lungs out, as you take a deep breath your lungs begin to inflate then as you breathe out... Your lungs defl...

The Battle of Siget from August 6 to September 7, 1566.

Image
The Battle of Siget from August 6 to September 7, 1566. In the Habsburg-Ottoman war from 1551 to 1562, the Ottomans besieged Siget (Hungarian: *Szigetvár)* in the spring of 1556, but the defenders under the command of Mark Stančić (Hungarian: Horváth Stancsics Márk) managed to defend the fort. In August 1561, Marko Stančić died, and in September of the same year Count Nikola IV Zrinski (Hungarian: Zrínyi Miklós) was appointed as the new captain of Siget, at his own request. The conflict between the Ottoman vassal and the pretender to the Hungarian throne, Duke of Transylvania Sigismund Zapolya and the Czech, Hungarian and Croatian king Maximilian II. Habsburg, and the failure of the siege of Malta in 1565, influenced the decision of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent to break the truce concluded in 1562. At the age of 72 he undertakes the 13th campaign for his 45-year reign. The victory of the Croatian ban Petar Erdody near Obreska on September 10, 1565, over the army of the Bosnian Sandj...

DANGERS OF MARRYING AN ALREADY MADE MAN!!!

Image
Dangers of marrying an ALREADY MADE man!!! You see many girls are more interested in marrying boys who are doing well financially.  To them husband material is one with a good job, car and house.  Most of them do not realize that very few successful young men will bend for marriage.  They do not consider the dangers of marrying a man who’s life you have not contributed anything.  You just want to enter there and enjoy all the good things. What a shame ! Dangers of marrying already made men ; 1. They don’t change for any woman. If you found him taking alcohol, he will continue.  If you found him womanizing he will continue womanizing that comfort zone cannot be abolished by marriage. 2. You will have little say on what he has. When an already established man marries you, he doesn’t consider you as a person to value but a property to keep.  He will be counting you among the things he owns.  Many girls are treated like things and not humans because they l...
