CANDIDATE MIND SET TO POLITICAL OFFICES...

I will start by saying Nigeria politics look almost the same in all regions, state and ethnicities. The patten nor method at which politics is been approach and played in a democratic nation like Nigeria looks opposite of true definition of democracy.

What could be the reason? First, I have noticed, majorly' electorates have the mentality of begging and extorting candidates ones it's election period. And that's a bad habit of patriotic citizens that suppose to protect and ensure democracy.

Secondly, unqualified and wrong choice to candidacy becomes inevitable base on the absolute observation and understanding of echelons who are in authority and place of partial politics to donate and sponsor candidates' that; voters are only in need of food and individual development instead of territory or societal all round development.

The YOUTH should listen 👂, the true meaning of political participation is voluntary activities undertaken by the mass public to influence public policy, either directly or by affecting the selection of persons who make policies. And it examples include voting in elections, helping a political campaign, donating money to a candidate, petitioning, protesting, and working with other people on issues that matters.

My fellow NIGERIAN YOUTH, I advice at this crucial time of another political race ranging from the ward councillor to local government chairmen election that; "Election" shouldn't be to waste money. Candidate should try and educate the masses on good governance and its dividends. Because, the waste of money by candidates is the begining of citizens suffering true democracy.

Oh, if we can put up our head and brains to see dashing of rice, and peanut(cash) to be mere or limitations to human capital development, then there will be limitations to unwanted  representative government and their negative manipulations.

I love to be brief these day, so, I will conclude by deeply soliciting the use of wisdom by YOUTH of UGHELLI SOUTH LGA, Delta State, to kindly imbibe in due voting process and never forget the requirements, potentials, capacity, well-informed, and good behaviour attributes to rule before making choice of candidates being it quarter, community, ward and local elections. This is because, hardly the federal/state will oppress the grass root or local if there is true advocation and practices of representative democracy.

Let goodwill to political participation begins with us in order to encourage the continuous seen M.O.R.E. agenda of the Delta State Governor, Right (Hon) Elder Sheriff O. Francis Oborevwori.

Comr Edewor Otighoarievwen   In politics, people work against their conscience to get favour because of the above statement.  The same thing happens to those that are party conscious particularly when they have build and they don't want to let go. Also, remember man must live to make a better life.  Now, who is to be blamed for the issue of bad governance and parties' failure to bring out incompetent candidates when there are competent individuals in the party??? History was made yesterday 20th July 2024,as an NGO known as Teku charitable foundation embarked on an Education scholarship and Free medical care outreach program to the people okwagbe community in Ughelli south Local Government area of Delta state. The Convener Elohor Omoko said the occasion was in commemoration of her late father’s 20th Remembrance anniversary Late Mr Edward Teku Boyi Omoko Alias(Ojele) who was an advocate of Education of the boy and girl child. I am saying this because of the rate at which teenagers are often seen around immoral happenings in the current generation. There was a day I called 6 girls in a group movement to questioned about the reason they dress half nicked, their reply was through a young girl among them that; nothing makes them dress half nicked other than choice to dress as you like. Immorality will pay major religions atrocity today or later tomorrow. Religious is meant to be morally perfect not to congest the heart of men to the state of unbelieve or lacking faith.
